Soaring Wings Coaching Testimonials

Having completed 4 coaching sessions with Soaring Wings, I am eager to share my experience with potential coachees. I had my main goals set prior to the sessions and my coach helped me achieve them by listening carefully to my options and prompting me with probing questions that really made me think about my ideas and the reasons behind why I was struggling with achieving my goals as well as why I wanted to achieve these goals in the first place. She challenged my thinking, and this helped me to prioritise my options to ensure my goals were met within the timeframe I had set myself. I find that I am now following through with my plans, and the sessions helped me clear my mind, set triggers that will stop me procrastinating and use practical and positive steps to achieve realistic targets. My mindset has shifted, and I must say that the coaching sessions have played an important role in me organising my life, spending less time scrolling through YouTube shorts (which were eating away at my valuable time) and spending more focussed quality time to achieve my work related and personal goals. Overall, I would highly recommend Soaring Wings if you need a life coach to help you achieve you goals.”

Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah for the oppurtunity I was given to join the coaching session by Umm Hafsa. To be honest, at first I was slightly sceptical to join because I had no idea what coaching was about. So we started the sessions and she asked me what I wanted to talk about, an aspect in my life that I would like to improve on etc. My usual response was, “I am all good! There is nothing to talk about.” But I took a few minutes to ponder and realise a pain point that I have been struggling with for YEARS! And that is, the quality of my solah. I opened up to her and shared with her how I have been really disappointed with the fact that due to my injuries and lack of focus I have not been able to give my best to my solah. We had a long chat and I was just pouring out my emotions, it was easy to do so because she was such an attentive and active listener. I honestly did not know what to expect from our session but I kept talking to the point where I started seeing and reflecting on my current state. Umm Hafsa was giving me word prompts to steer my speech and thinking into ways that would be productive for me so I wasn’t just mindlessly ranting. This ability to be able to self reflect is so powerful, imagine self reflecting and your thoughts are acknowledge and affirmed by someone who was listening so intently and has a background is islamic sciences as well as psychology? The cherry on the cake was , that towards the end of the session after she had heard all my struggles , she suggested to me easy, practical and bite sized steps I could take to improve the quality of my solah catered to my personal struggles. This session was way more impactful than I anticipated it to be and I am eternally grateful I got the opportunity to join in. Honestly, if you are on the fence about joining, just take that first step and go for it! You never know what tools you may unlock in yourself and that can help you deal with things you are struggling with
